As you can see this natural botanical oil/water hybrid is promising some impressive results for all skin types, so here’s how it could work for you…

Rose Water for Oily, Acne-prone Skin
A common ingredient in make-up removing solutions and toners, Rose Water has well recognised anti-bacterial and anti-microbial benefits, meaning it helps minimise the number of harmful bacteria on the surface of the skin. It can also balance the skin’s pH and help to decongest blocked pores, but most experts recommend acne sufferers avoid creams or lotions that contain high levels of Rose Water as it can cause the skin to over-produce oil which could lead to breakouts.

Rose Water for Dry, Dehydrated Skin
Rose petals contain natural essential oils and, when combined with water, they significantly boost the skin’s moisture levels. The natural sugars present in these petals also help to nourish dehydrated skin and soften dry patches, which is why Rose Water is a popular ingredient in post-shave treatments as it prevents the skin from becoming tight and uncomfortable due to moisture loss. Look for it in moisturising creams and facial mists that can be reapplied throughout the day.

Rose Water for Dull, Mature Skin
Rose Water is packed with natural antioxidants so it is great for protecting and repairing cells within the skin. These properties have been shown to help strengthen weakened cells and reduce the amount of environmental damage done to elastin fibres, effectively plumping and smoothing over areas of the skin showing the early signs of ageing. This ability to repair also restores a healthy, youthful glow to tired, ageing skin plus the pleasant scent instantly revives the senses.

Rose Water for Sensitive, Redness-prone Skin
Some botanical extracts have a tendency to aggravate sensitive skin , but Rose Water is incredibly gentle and safe for easily irritated complexions. It instantly calms stressed skin and tones down visible redness after just a few minutes, making it a great addition to post-cleansing toners and make-up removing solutions which can sometimes leave the skin looking angry and red. As it also strengthens weak cells, Rose Water can help to stabilise sensitive skin, making it less reactive

Now that we finally clarified the usage, purpose and effects of rose water, let's finally talk about the specific Rosense one and my personal experiences with this product and it's apparently very wide range.

I have never used rose water on my skin before, but I have heard that it is a great natural toner and has antibacterial properties. I have seen a few brands selling rose water, but most of them have glycerine or preservatives. It was nice to get my hands on something that was just pure distilled rose water.
I think talking about the packaging is not necessarily since there are tons of pics in this post already, so let's move on to it's scent! To be honest, I’m very picky when it comes to scents in whatever way, I love realistic rose smell, luckily it's the case talking about this product.

I use this at day just like night after cleansing my face and before moisturizing. It takes very little to soak a cotton pad and patting it onto my skin has become one of my favourite steps in my skin care routine! It is nice and refreshing and I already mentioned it, but it smells divine.

Well, I have to admit that my skin is very complicated and picky, just like me talking about scents. That's why I'm super happy finding a new product finally working out for me. Since i've been using this product for almost 1 month now luckily I can account you with good conscience that I and my skin were really satisfied!
It instantly calms stressed skin and tones down visible redness after just a few minutes, making it a great addition to post-cleansing toners after a long day. Using it regularly, it feels like my skin is smoother in general, especially talking about about the decongestion of my blocked pore. Something like a spa in your face!
Moving on to the price, some people may think it's too expensive, but we're talking about 300ml after all and therefore £15.00... I think it's justified.

Overall, I like the Rosense Rose Water to generally pamper my face and it is quite uplifting after a long day and would in fact recommend it, if you have the possibility of course!

Did you already try to include rose water in your beauty routine? Let me know about your experiences if you did!

By the way not related to the topic, but while writing this post the idea of trying out beauty products all around the world came to my mind - would anyone be interested in that series?

Until next time… ciao!!
